Jordi is from Barcelona.
The sea is his great passion, his life and his profession. At the age of 18, he started as a diver. He spent ten years in the diving industry; but he looked for a new challenge and found it in the nautical world, becoming Captain. He is a keen enthusiast of water sports, mainly light sailing, windsurfing and snorkelling. He has a degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, and is also a diving instructor. He speaks Italian and English fluently.
Enrique is from Barcelona.
He is our Chief engineer.
He is very familiar with all yacht systems and always makes sure that all the equipment of the boat is in proper working order.
Previously Enrique had worked in the Offshore sector as Head of Machines of an AHT Supply, in addition to other types of vessels such as Tugboats, Fishing, etc.
He has sailed around half the world, Enrique has crossed the Atlantic several times, and the Mediterranean Sea from end to end.
Enrique, Kike for us, is a vital member of the team, always willing and happy to meet all the needs of the deck, taking perfect care of keeping the unit of the team.
His skills make him a key member of the Takara’s crew.
Carlos is from Brazil, although he has been living in Barcelona for many years.
He is passionate about diving and light sailing. A serious and hardworking professional, always dedicated to keep the boat in the best conditions. He had previously worked in one of the largest private boats in the world (140 meters), as responsible for the dive center of the ship, as well as being the deck responsible in port maneuvers.
Carlos speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish fluently.
Irene is from Valladolid, land without sea, but her passion for nature guided her to the sea, where she lives today.
She is our Head of Hostesses, and has been working in the service and hospitality sector for many years, which means she has plenty of experience in attending and taking care of clients.
Irene is focused on everyone’s well-being, with the great responsibility of directly taking care of the client and guests down to the last detail so that your time spent on board is pleasant and memorable.
Irene is delighted with her work, always attentive to everyone, happy to take the very best care of the boat and its guests. As you will see, Irene is one of the important people in the crew of the Takara.
And her goal is to make sure that each and every guest is satisfied and feels well cared for.
Fernanda is from Sao Paulo, Brazil. She has a degree in Architecture and Urbanism and a Master in Art History. Her professional career took her to the city of Barcelona.
Fernanda’s passion for the sea takes her to dedicate herself full-time to the professional nautical industry.
Fernanda has a positive attitude and is a smiling, responsible and very hardworking person, always caring about clients’ needs.
Her aim is to become a versatile and indispensable person in the structure of the yacht. She is very attentive to details, comforts, and the well-being of all.
Fernanda speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese fluently.
The career of Luis in the world of gastronomy begins in 2001, in Mexico City, its birthplace. After traveling around Europe, Luís decides to stay in Barcelona, participate in the opening of a restaurant and complete a higher degree of cuisine at the School of Restoration of Barcelona.
Luís has been working and learning in Asian, Mediterranean, Mexican, market and fusion cuisine, so he has a good command of different types of cooking.
He has worked with famous chefs such as Pedro Monje, David Reartes and Jordi Narro.
Luis has cooked for the King of Saudi Arabia aboard his private yacht, and he was the head chef at Somorrostro Restaurant in Barcelona for 3 years.
Tania is from Fuerteventura, Canary Islands.
She is our hostess and first bridge officer, qualified as Captain in the absence of completing her internship days.
She had previously worked in the hospitality sector until she reached the world of professional and sport diving in the Island of La Graciosa, where she worked as a Divemaster.
This is her third season in the yacht sector.
All her life has been linked to the sea, perhaps due to family influence, since his father is a national light sailing coach in Fuerteventura.
